It’s a Korean rice beer that is lightly sweet, with a smooth, creamy body and subtle fizz - the drink is carbonated, unfiltered, gluten-free and vegan. This variety 16 pack comes with 4 cans of each flavor: Original, Mango, Blueberry, and Passionfruit.
The flavors are subtle and allow the makgeolli to be the star, which I enjoy. They're tastefully done, not too heavy-handed. I'm always nervous about mango flavored beverages because some mango flavoring is terrible and bitter, but the mango flavor here was surprisingly authentic and tasty. Blueberry and passionfruit were good as well.

While on vacation, my boyfriend and I tried the passionfruit flavor at a restaurant and loved it, but I couldn’t find it anywhere in stores back at home and decided to order online. So worth it! The variety pack is fantastic and all the flavors are very refreshing. If you’re looking for a fun alternative to beer and enjoy some more subtle sake flavors, definitely give this a try. Mango is my personal favorite at the moment but I enjoy them all. Will be ordering again (:
